Travel advice Amsterdam during the coronacrisis (COVID-19)

Our motto: Safety first! At Who Is Amsterdam Tours we constantly following the advice of city of Amsterdam, the Dutch health authorities as well as the World Health Organisation (WHO) to ensure that we are always in line with the current guidelines.

Because it’s close to our hearts to help you be well informed during your trip to our beautiful home town, we gathered all necessary information for your trip underneath. 

Okay great, so what's the current situation in Amsterdam?

So here is the deal, museums and attractions like the Heineken experience are closed. Also gatherings bigger than 100 persons are prohibited by the Dutch authorities. However, bars and restaurants are still open and the public transport is running on normal schedule.

All the museums are closed and gatherings above >100 persons are not accessible. 

The Public Transport is at this moment fully operating.

Most of the bars and restaurants are open. Our advise however is to always call them or check their website. 

What can I do to stay safe and to take precautions? 

Take care of your health and protect others by following the advice of the national health authorities:

  • Avoid handshakes.

  • Avoid large groups (more than 100 people).

  • Wash your hands regularly.

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.

  • Cough and sneeze into your inner elbow.

  • Turn away from others coughing or sneezing.

  • Use paper tissues to contain your coughs and blow your nose.

Are Your tours running? What do you do to provide safety? 

Yes! Our tours are running, however at this moment only private tours. Since the outbreak of the virus all our guides have been in good health. Yaaaay! We are also in constant contact with our partners if everybody on their side is doing well, so it’s safe to go there during our tours. For now, all good and safe. To keep it that way and to be in compliance with the cities safety rules we will also do the following during:

  • We will give you a warm welcome but we won’t give you a hand! Sorry, but we simply care too much! 

  • We have a “All-you-can-sanitize” policy. During the tour we will visit 3-4 places, each time we will remind you to sanitise your hands and you can also do it whenever you feel like it in between. 

If I Need to cancel my tour, what is your cancellation policy?

Yes you can cancel if you wish. However, we want to point out that you can reschedule your experience to a later moment. We are also happy to give you a gift voucher. How does that sound? If you still wish to proceed with cancelling your tour. Here is our cancellation policy:
